Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and whether that’s 100% true or not, I personally always make an effort to start my mornings with a light bite to go with a cup of coffee or tea. Whether it’s a few shortbread cookies, a bowl of yogurt and granola, or an apple eaten on the go, I need something to keep me going until lunch—because we all know how important it is to stave off the hanger, I mean hunger.

In the summer, I often lean on quick no-cook breakfasts, just your basic slicing, spooning, and assembly, or maybe buzzing in a blender.
