The first time I tried Australian yogurt was from a clear, unmarked tub. I was instantly hooked on the creamy texture. I flew from Sydney back to Los Angeles and immediately started looking for something similar. It didn’t take me long to find Noosa’s Aussie-style yogurt at Target.
I fell in love with Noosa blueberry and lemon yogurts, and experimented with them by adding toppings like granola and nuts. Now I’m obsessed with something new: Noosa yogurt with mix-ins. I can enjoy the same creamy, crunchy blends without having to think twice about what to add, since Noosa includes toppings tucked safely in the lid.
The new combos include my go-to yogurts with mix-ins that I hadn’t thought of—like dried blueberries added to an already blueberry-forward yogurt, and white chocolate chips and shortbread pieces that make lemon yogurt reminiscent of the Scottish cookies I dip in black tea.
Simply Recipes / Noosa
Noosa has six new creations, so my breakfast options just expanded to include some seriously craveable flavor twists. Think caramel apple yogurt with crunchy, salty pretzels that give off fall fair vibes; coconut yogurt topped with toasted coconut chips and sliced almonds that tastes like the tropics; and a strawberry-on-strawberry recipe.
No surprise, they all feature the same rich Australian yogurt and real fruit purées that took Noosa from a farmers market find to the dairy aisle at Target and Walmart.
Here’s a full list of the new flavors:
- Coconut: coconut on the bottom, topped with toasted coconut chips, sliced roasted almonds, and dark chocolate chips
- Strawberry: strawberry on the bottom, topped with oat and honey granola, sliced roasted almonds, and dried strawberries
- Cherry: black cherries on the bottom, topped with dark chocolate chips, oat and honey granola, sliced roasted almonds, and dried cherries
- Lemon: lemon on the bottom, topped with lemon shortbread pieces, sliced roasted almonds, and white chocolate chips
- Blueberry: wild blueberries on the bottom, topped with oat and honey granola, sliced roasted almonds, and dried blueberries
- Caramel Apple: salted caramel on the bottom, topped with oat and honey granola, pretzels, and dried apples
Why I Love Noosa
The flavors and textures keep me going back for more, but I also love that Noosa’s yogurts are made with milk from happy cows in Colorado. I appreciate that it’s a protein-packed option that I can count on to keep me fueled for hours, which is a must for busy days when I don’t have time to make breakfast.
Most importantly, every spoonful transports me back to that first bite of Australian yogurt I took all those years ago!
