I’ve found some of the best kitchenwares and accessories at ALDI in my many years shopping at the store.
In fact, a year ago, I found my favorite pan in the aisle of specials at ALDI: a nine-inch nonstick pan that works better than the fancier one I got at a cooking store. So, I was excited to see a new, two-pan set in the aisle this week.
ALDI Crofton Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan Set
- Price: $14.99 for two pans, one 8-inch and one 10 1/4-inch
- Why I Love Them: These super lightweight pans look beautiful and have comfortable handles. They’re perfectly nonstick and easy to care for.
What I Love About ALDI’s Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan Set
For only $14.99, the Crofton Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan Set comes with two pans: one eight inches in diameter and one 10 1/4 inches in diameter. The sets come in light blue and neon green, and they look like pans that Williams Sonoma sells for $100. The colors, in particular, seem to match exactly.
The pans are just darling, and the green ones even complement my kitchen walls. Their handles are made of a soft grip plastic that feels really nice to hold. Plus, since the metal is made of recycled aluminum, the pans evenly distribute the heat when I’m cooking.
The aluminum also means that they’re lightweight, and while I think that’s nice when I’m cooking, it’s even nicer for people like my mom, who has arthritis in her hands. She really appreciates pans that aren’t so heavy.

How I Use ALDI’s Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan Set
The pans’ ceramic nonstick surface makes cooking eggs a breeze. I usually melt a little bit of butter, drizzle in a little olive oil, or spray on some cooking oil, then crack the eggs into the pan, and I’m good to go. They slide out perfectly.
These pans aren’t just great for eggs over easy or omelets. They’re also perfect for sautéing veggies and chicken strips to make an easy fajita dinner. The large pan fits three decent-sized burgers (four if I crowd the pan) if my son or husband requests burgers for dinner.
Caring for ALDI’s Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan Set
According to the label, you should only hand-wash these pans. They clean up pretty easily, but since they’re nonstick, I don’t use the green scrubby sponges or anything metal to clean them. If something sticks, I use a plastic scraper so I don’t damage the ceramic nonstick surface. If something’s too caked on for the scraper, I sprinkle the pan with baking soda and dish soap before scrubbing with a soft sponge.
One thing to note, however, is that while these pans work on gas and electric stoves, they are not compatible with induction because they’re made of aluminum.
