There’s a time and a place for a hot breakfast, whether you’re prepping a stack of banana pancakes or slices of French toast to pair with sausage and eggs. But in the summertime? I want an easy, chilled breakfast that still delivers maximum flavor. This peach cobbler overnight oats recipe is a favorite go-to of mine.
The recipe comes together with just ten minutes of prep time and you only need five ingredients to pull it off. You can prep these peach cobbler overnight oats ahead of time and harness the flavor of peak-season fruit along with notes of brown sugar and cinnamon for the ultimate comforting breakfast.
How To Serve Peach Cobbler Overnight Oats
I love to prep these overnight oats in individual servings in jars. Once it’s time for breakfast, I top them with Greek yogurt and additional diced peaches before digging in. However, you can choose to empty the jar into a bowl for serving if preferred.
Dress them up further with additional fruit such as raspberries or sliced strawberries, add a dollop of jam, or even add a spoonful of whipped cream for more dessert-for-breakfast vibes.

Make-Ahead and Storage
The beauty of this recipe is that you’re able to meal prep multiple servings in a matter of minutes. These overnight oats can be assembled up to four days ahead of time, giving you three days’ worth of individual breakfasts or several servings for the family. Store them individually in sealed jars in the fridge.
Alternatively, you could make the whole batch in a bowl, put a lid on it, and store it in the fridge to dish out from as needed.
How To Make My Peach Cobbler Overnight Oats
To make three to four servings, you’ll need:
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups whole or 2% milk
- 2 medium peaches
- Greek yogurt, optional
In a bowl, whisk together the oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pit and dice one of the peaches and add it to the bowl. Stir in the milk until well combined. Divide the oat mixture into three jars and top each with a lid. Place the jars in the fridge and chill at least overnight or up to 4 days.
When ready to serve, pit and dice the remaining peach. Top each serving with a dollop of Greek yogurt, if desired, and the additional diced peaches.

Variations and Substitutions
- Use another sweetener: Brown sugar adds not only a touch of sweetness but a depth of flavor to these overnight oats. Prefer to skip it? Leave the brown sugar out or swap it for 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, honey, or agave.
- Choose any milk: Any milk can be utilized to make this breakfast. Choose whole milk or 2% for a creamier version, or opt for fat-free. You can also make these overnight oats dairy-free by using oat milk or soy milk.
- Add more mix-ins: Doctor these oats up any way you see fit. Consider adding chia seeds (just add a splash more milk) or chopped nuts to the mixture for added texture.
