This $5.99 Aldi Find Is a Copycat of a Popular $40 Pottery Barn Product

Every summer, I promise myself that I’ll get into the habit of drinking more water. It’s nothing particularly fancy—just me trying to hit my hydration goals in every way possible.

Here’s my little secret: I’ve discovered that when my water (or sparkling water) is cold and my glass is really pretty, I’m way more likely to drink it. So, with these gorgeous new glasses from Aldi, even my 3 p.m. lemon water feels like a treat.

Aldi’s latest kitchen must-have is a beautiful set of outdoor beaded glasses for just $5.99 (for a 4-pack). Designed for outdoor use, the Crofton brand glasses are made from plastic (durable and BPA-free, mind you), yet they flawlessly mimic the elegant, beaded texture of pressed glass, making them look far more expensive than they are.

Even better? They’re a near-perfect dupe for Pottery Barn’s Jupiter outdoor drinking glasses, which retail for a whopping $40 for a set of four. 

Why I Love Aldi’s Outdoor Beaded Glassware

There are so many reasons why these outdoor glasses are quickly becoming my favorite for summer sippers. Namely, they easily outshine the Pottery Barn counterparts in terms of value. The super affordable price point puts them at $1.50 per glass, compared to Pottery Barn’s $10.00 per glass price. So, if you want to stock up, a set of twelve will only set you back about $18.00–half the cost of Pottery Barn’s four.

Of course, the appearance is stunning. The beaded, hobnail-like texture catches the light beautifully, mimicking the fancy pressed glassware. Since the glasses are made from acrylic, they’re outdoor-friendly, meaning you can host a BBQ, use them around a pool, or enjoy a quiet evening on the patio without worrying about breakage, especially if you have kids.

Aside from the price point, the glassware differs in only a couple of minor features. Aldi’s glasses are 15.2-ounce tumbler-style glasses, whereas Pottery Barn offers the option of either a smaller 14-ounce tumbler glass or a larger 20-ounce “cooler” glass, as they call it.

Aldi’s color options are transparent versions of clear, blue, and green colorways, almost identical to those of Pottery Barn, except Pottery Barn also offers a coral-colored glass.

Whether you buy from the premium or pocket-friendly store, all the glasses are lightweight (never flimsy), providing a nice, comfortable feel in your hand, and they’re genuinely great for both kids and grown-ups.

Plus, they’re all dishwasher safe, which is a huge win for easy cleanup after a party or just everyday use. When it comes down to it, most people wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference between the two.
