I’m always on the lookout for recipes that are delicious, impactful, and simple. Pull-apart bread falls into that category; it’s the perfect dish for a dinner party. Everyone is excited to tear off their own pieces and watch those cheesy layers come apart. Plus, it pairs with a wide range of party food.
When I came across a recipe for a Caesar pull-apart bread, it checked both of these boxes. Developed by Ken’s Dressings, this recipe is so easy—it calls for just four ingredients (plus bonus butter for brushing), and comes together in a half hour.
How I Make Ken’s Caesar Pull-Apart Bread
Ken’s Caesar Pull-Apart Bread has a short ingredient list. You’ll need 1/2 cup of the brand’s Caesar dressing as well as a couple of cans of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, grated Parmesan, parsley, and optional butter.
First, you’ll need to preheat your oven to 375°F. Most biscuits will offer different instructions on the packaging, but ignore that—this recipe needs the extra heat since it’s stuffed full of cheesy goodness. Also, grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan; try to use one with the highest sides possible so the biscuits rise to their full potential.

Now, it’s time to make the filling and assemble. In a small bowl, mix together the dressing, Parmesan, and parsley. Remove the biscuits from the packaging and place them all on a cutting board. Top them with an even sprinkling of the cheesy Caesar mixture, then carefully stack them vertically. Transfer the stack into the pan, tipping it sideways so that one side of the pan gets the top of the stack and one side gets the bottom. Fill in the space on the side with any extra biscuits.
Brush the top of the loaf with melted butter, then transfer to the oven and bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant. Before serving, brush with fresh melted butter, so it’s glistening, and sprinkle with more fresh parsley.
Tips for Making This Recipe
When you’re buying buttermilk biscuits, I’d recommend trying to find a brand that offers “flaky layers” rather than homestyle. Most popular brands distinguish these two styles and offer both.
Homestyle biscuits are best for spreading butter, jam, and pimento cheese, while those with flaky layers put more emphasis on the layers that burst apart when the chilled butter and rising agents come in contact with the heat of the oven. Those big, airy layers will make the pull-apart bread even cheesier and more appealing on your table.
Ken’s Caesar Pull-Apart Bread calls for two cans of biscuits, but I tested with just one, and it still turned out great. Initially, the biscuits won’t fill up the pan, but once they bake, you’ll be surprised. They expanded well in the baking pan, and the layers were visible when my guests pulled the bread apart at the table.
